Australian Perspectives on Migration

Welcome to the website of the 16th biennial conference of GASt (Gesellschaft für Australienstudien / German Association for Australian Studies).

Hosted by the Department of English and American Studies, Section V, Anglophone Literatures and Literary Translation, at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, the conference is taking place from 4 – 6 October 2018. It will address cultural, social, historical, legal, and (geo)political issues related to the contemporary global challenge of migration and displacement from Australian and German perspectives.
